There’s something timeless about summer evenings in downtown Chicago, especially when you get to explore the city with a couple like Julia and David. Their engagement session was laid-back, full of laughter, and beautifully authentic—everything I love about photographing couples who are simply themselves in front of the camera.

As a Chicago wedding photographer, I have been privileged to document numerous love stories, each one unique and beautiful in its own way. However, Wes and David's wedding was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment I arrived at The LaSalle Chicago hotel to capture the grooms getting ready, I knew this day would be filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments!

Adrienne & Kellen were absolutely wonderful to work with and photograph. They 100% planned their wedding during the pandemic, and I’m so grateful to Danielle with Ohana Events for connecting us. We of course first met over Zoom, but as we got to know one another I could tell we were a great match.

After a year so full of uncertainty and worry, I wanted to reflect on the work I was able to create, and the people who so graciously allowed me into their lives. I cannot express the gratitude I feel for the clients who stuck with me during a extremely difficult time in the wedding industry.
