I got to travel a few times in 2018, but this trip to Austin, Texas for Eileen & Lee’s wedding tops the list. Full of laughter, style and emotion. After having a few fun days in Austin, we headed to Montesino Ranch, about an hour outside the city. An absolutely beautiful venue in the Texas hill country. The ceremony took place on a ridge with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. We made it back down the hill just in time for sunset wedding party photos by the river. Again I have to say they were an incredibly fun and stylish group. The reception took place inside a converted barn, and thankfully the weather held out so the entire dinner was outside. Speaking of dinner, we got to experience how tasty Terry’ Black BBQ is. Some seriously amazing brisket. I truly cannot thank the couple enough for allowing me to travel with them from Chicago to Austin. An unbelievable trip!
P.S. A special thanks to Allison Williams Photography (some great images of the groom getting ready), and to Ashley Robertson of Much Ado Austin. I could not have effectively photographed this wedding without their help!
