Amy & Mike were wonderfully laid back, and even a little goofy in front of the camera. Before their wedding later this year, they are spending large chunks of time apart (Mike is a chemist living in Canada, and Amy is a dance instructor here in Chicago). So it seemed like they were making the most of their time together. For their engagement session, Amy really wanted a classic Chicago feel. We started off at the LaSalle Street Bridge, and then made our way down the Riverwalk. There's actually a great spot underneath the neighboring Clark Street Bridge. We then took a stroll down Michigan Avenue, stopping at the Bean and eventually visiting the Art Institute. They're big fans of the Chagall Windows and "A Sunday on La Grand Jatte" by Georges Seurat. Our final stop was Milton Olive Park for a view of the skyline. Amy & Mike were absolutely great to photograph and I'm looking forward to their wedding in July!
