Photographing a London House Wedding
Photographing Jenna & Brandon’s London House Chicago wedding was a blast. Brandon being an active member of the U.S. Marines, they have traveled and lived all over the world, but their wedding was a Chicago classic. Their design incorporated lots of white with pops of red, a military inspired ceremony led by their uncle who served in the Navy, and a cake cutting moment with a marine sword that was a lot of fun to capture.
About the Couple
From their first look in the London House’s 22nd floor cupola, to the packed dance floor, the day was full of fun and emotional moments. One that really stands out happened as we were taking photos along the Chicago River. A street performer dressed as Spiderman, who perched himself on a bus stop, caught the couple’s attention as they walked by. I’m always looking for something unique during each wedding, and this is one of my favorite shots of the day.
Jenna was a stunning bride, and Brandon of course wore his dress uniform, so it was a treat to watch the crowd’s reaction as we took wedding party photos along the Riverwalk.
It was an absolute honor to capture Jenna & Brandon’s wedding. Thank you again for letting me be a part of it!
