Lincoln Park Engagement Session - Shelly & Josh

I had an absolute blast photographing Shelly & Josh for their engagement session!  As with many of my recent sessions, we found ourselves starting off at the couple's favorite bar, Jake's Pub.  In addition to planning on where to go for engagement portraits, I always ask the couple what they like to do together.  In this case it was playing darts and drinking PBR, which made for fantastic moments!  We then stopped off at their Lincoln Park home for some quick photos and an outfit change.  It was a beautiful day outside (albeit a little cold, winter would not end this year), so we took a walk through the park, ending up at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool. Probably one of the best natural settings in the city.  As the sun went down, we headed to the lakefront for photos with the Chicago skyline.  This session was full of laughter and hilarious moments.  I'm looking forward to their wedding day!
