Photographing a Chicago backyard wedding
It was a tough year for many of my clients, but I have to say Jessica & Michael rolled with the punches with style, humor and grace. Having to downsize and reschedule their wedding, the couple opted to move the ceremony and reception to the backyard of their new home. Honestly it couldn’t have gone better. A local park nearby was perfect for their emotional first look, and the wedding party was a blast to photograph. It was a beautiful day in June so they were able to keep everything outside. The pandemic of course presented many challenges, but their community found ways to make it special.
Even though they weren’t able to host the big city wedding they wanted, they were able to celebrate with close family and friends. I’m sincerely appreciative to the couple for working with me, and allowing me to document their day! I wish Jessica & Michael the very best!
