Happy anniversary to Laura & Victor! Can’t believe it’s already been a year.
Photographing A Carnivale Chicago Wedding
I had a fantastic time capturing Laura and Victor’s colorful engagement session. Since then, I couldn’t wait for their summer wedding at Carnivale Chicago. The energetic vibe of their venue fit with the liveliness they wanted; incorporating the bold interior colors and original fine art, as well as showcasing their shared love of latin culture. They let the colors take the lead in their design, but also included their own touches with subtle flowers and llamas. These two really are such a fun couple. Combined with such a visually appealing venue, it really was a joy to capture.
About the Couple
Victor is from Lima, Peru and moved to the States for undergrad at University of Arizona at the age of 18. He came on a scholarship to play classical guitar. After undergrad he decided to move to Chicago for law school at DePaul University, and has been enjoying the food, music, arts and culture the city has to offer ever since. Victor works as an Immigration Lawyer and runs his own boutique law firm, located in the West Loop.
Laura is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and went to Indiana University-Bloomington for undergrad, then moved to Chicago for grad school at Loyola University Chicago. She currently works at a Bilingual School Psychologist. Since a young age Laura has been mesmerized by the Spanish language and became infatuated with the Hispanic cultures. Laura lived in Madrid, Spain for one year, and is passionate about domestic and international travel.
Together, Laura and Victor enjoy exploring the restaurant and art scene of Chicago, playing tennis, and traveling. They also enjoy the company and love their family and friends near and far.
Laura and Victor, thank you for letting me capture your day!
